President-elect Donald Trump’s border czar Tom Homan stressed comments he made at the Northwest Side GOP holiday party in Illinois earlier in the week that he will prosecute mayors that knowingly harbor or conceal illegal immigrants. Homan told Fox & Friends on Friday that he would not hesitate to legally go after mayors who obstruct federal immigration law when it comes to the deportation of illegal immigrants.
"You will not only go after the illegal migrants, you may go after some mayors who aren’t helping?" co-host Steve Doocy asked.
Tom Homan: “[Mayors] can sit back and watch us, which again I find incredible you don’t want to take public safety threats out of your community to help us ... It’s a felony … if you knowingly conceal or harbor an illegal alien from ICE.”
