Taylor Greene vows at CPAC to push ahead with bill for national ban for youth transgender therapies

Georgia GOP Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene on Friday told an enthusiastic CPAC crowd, she will reintroduce her bill to ban transgender therapies on minors.

"When it comes to kids, I think the Republican Party has a duty," Greene said at the annual Conservative Political Action Committee gathering, this year at Maryland's National Harbor, outside of the nation's capital. "We have a responsibility and that is to be the party that protects children."

The conservative firebrand says she'll re-introduced her her bill as early as next week, in an attempt to get it passed in the now-Republican-controlled House.

"Call every single member of Congress and tell them to get on the "Protect Children's Innocence Act," she said.
