Just one day after Gov. Greg Abbott unveiled a list of the top ten most wanted illegal aliens in Texas, DPS apprehended one of them.
Servando Trejo Duran Jr. is an illegal alien from Mexico who has a long history of criminal activity including homicide, burglary, and tampering with government records. He was also wanted for violating parole for “murder with a deadly weapon.”
“These fugitives will be put behind bars for a very long time,” Gov. Abbott posted on X.
The Texas Department of Public Safety is simultaneously continuing its efforts to arrest and detain human smugglers, with most of the transported illegal aliens being referred to the U.S. Border Patrol.
