Dems retaliate against GOP proposal to rename Dulles after Trump by launching bid to rename Miami federal prison after him

Congressional Democrats have retaliated against a House GOP effort to rename Washington DC Dulles airport after President Donald Trump by introducing another bill to name a prison after him.

The bill, introduced by Reps. Gerry Connolly (D-VA), Jared Moskowitz (D-FL), and John Garamendi (D-CA), is a move to retaliate against the GOP for proposing the airport name change.

Connolly wrote in a statement, "When our Republican colleagues introduced their bill to rename Dulles after Donald Trump, I said the more fitting option would be to rename a federal prison."
