Much has been said and written by right-wingers about the precipitous decline of Saturday Night Live. There is a reason why SNL’s Donald Trump jokes are rarely funny while its rare Joe Biden jokes harken back to a bygone era when political comedy was appreciated by all: Hatred is off-putting.
Comics on SNL like Biden and hate Trump, which is a recipe for bad comedy. But openly spewing hatred toward everyday people is an even worse electoral strategy, a strategy that most pundits and politicians on the Left have employed for years and are ramping up now as the 2024 election approaches.
On Tuesday, MSNBC panelists, consisting of former official Biden regime mouthpiece Jen Psaki and unofficial Biden regime mouthpieces Joy Reid and Rachel Maddow, put their deep-seated hatred of the public on full display. The media personalities lamented the fact that voters care about the unprecedented invasion of the southern border.
“I live in Virginia. Immigration was the No. 1 issue … you’re thinking like what?” said Psaki as Reid chuckled, and Maddow added, “Well, Virginia does have a border with West Virginia!”
