Conservatives lay out what’s at stake in November

 There were two things U.S. Rep. Jim Sensenbrenner wanted to impress upon his fellow conservatives Sunday afternoon at the Annual World Famous Chicken Burn.

  1. “Russ Feingold is a Bears fan.”
  2. The stakes couldn’t be higher for conservatives in November.
Sensenbrenner was kidding about the first point. He was dead serious about the second.

The Menomonee Falls Republican, a member of Congress for nearly 38 years, warned his conservative brethren who have had a hard time stomaching Donald Trump’s nomination that pouting is for losers. Literally.
