BREAKING: CBS ‘fact checks’ JD Vance over migrant crisis, cuts his mic when he tries to respond

During Tuesday evening’s CBS News vice presidential debate between JD Vance and Tim Walz, moderators Norah O'Donnell and Margaret Brennan cut Vance's microphone as he was attempting to explain the immigration processes that have led to the border crisis under the Biden-Harris administration.

"Just to clarify for our viewers, Springfield, Ohio does have a large number of Haitian migrants who have legal status, temporary protected status," Brennan said, trying to hand it over to O’Donnell as Vance responded. "Senator, we have so much to get to."

"Margaret, the rules were that you guys weren’t gonna fact check," Vance said. "And since you’re fact-checking me, I think it’s important to say what’s actually going on."
